The Vice President, Sales, Strategic Accounts is a highly motivated and successful leader, as well as a forward-thinking individual responsible for providing strategic direction to Azure. The primary function of this role is to develop business and enhance revenue.The Position is open across the USA and person must have atleast 10 years of experience in Market Research industryKey Role and Responsibilities Exposure and coordination skills for international clientelePlaying an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective client engagement management.Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel.Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business.Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.Source and meet new prospects to bring them to the current portfolioBuild a list of (new) target clients in identified sectors based on criteria identified by AzureWork with Azure to identify potential approaches to the target clients through Azure networkDevelop a cold-calling script and materials/teaser for introductory emails and callsClose the deals by preparing proposals with the suitable and right prices, based on the understanding of prospects' needsNegotiate and implement all necessary strategies and skills to demonstrate and secure company's valuePlan and manage the pipeline for the next 3 months for consistent target deliveryLeverage excellent knowledge of company products and services, and deep understanding of trends, to be able to confidently present to audiences from either internal or externalDevelop and maintain relationships with prospects' decision makers and major influencersInitiate sales meetings to speak with and listen to clients and easily able to identify potential sales opportunities.Based on inputs received from sales meetings, work with Azure teams to develop customized solutions which combine Azure service offering with offerings from product partnersAbility to make high quality collateral (I.e. Sales presentations, proposals, etc.What will you NeedMinimum 15 years of experience in Market Research industryExcellent communication skillsAbility to converse intelligently and credibly with senior management of large global companies
