Job Description:
Volt is seeking a skilled and dependable Material Handler
candidate to join our dynamic team in Fresno, California. Our
company is dedicated to providing top-quality services and we value

position is responsible for handling, moving, packing, and storing
materials within warehouse, yard, and production areas. Pulling
material and/or supplies from inventory or production cells to
deliver to areas as needed. Additionally, the position will be
responsible for general warehouse upkeep and inspecting forklift
daily. Job Duties:
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
- Operates trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery
to move items using levers and controls.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift and communicate findings
to supervisor.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment,
such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or
replacing liquefied-gas tank.
- Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets,
skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transportation
vehicles.
- Fasten attachments to forklift using pins to tow or move
materials.
- Identify material is the correct item, quantity, and quality
against warehouse paperwork.
- Correctly label material with part number, work order number,
or job name as needed.
- Coordinate with Warehouse or Production employees in pulling
material to be picked and staged.
- Routinely move materials between designated stocking locations,
Receiving, staging areas, and production lines as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work well in a team.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, and work
independently with little guidance.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations of addition,
subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability
to bend and to lift heavy materials.
- Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management
computer software.
- Ability to analyze information, evaluate results to choose the
best decision, and solve problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with diverse
population.
- Customer service and detail oriented.
- Dependability in attendance and work ethic.
- Schedule: Full-time 10 Hour Shifts; Monday - Thursday from
5:00am - 3:30pm. This position may be required to work overtime
including weekends and evenings as needed. Pay: $17-$20 Pay range
offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors,
including the candidate's education, work experience, work
location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified
