  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • Must be certified with operator requirements of specific equipmentOthers Details:Day Shift weekend shift Friday - Sunday 8am to 8:30 pmJob Summary:Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT including general radiography and fluoroscopy.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:Associates degree in Radiologic Technology: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): RequiredRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CAAdvanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI Preferred in CABasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredFluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and ORVenipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and ORARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): RequiredEssential Functions:Assesses plans implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.Maintains accurate records files and billing information.
