Job Description POSITION OPENING FOR PROGRAM EVALUATOR Educational Resource Consultants (ERC) is seeking a full time Program Evaluator who will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of grant-funded programs, policies, and initiatives implemented in schools. ERC offers grant writing, program evaluation and technology support for school districts from the San Francisco Bay Area to San Diego. ERC values teamwork, collaboration, and personal initiative. The Program Evaluator plays a critical role in our organization. This is a salaried position with health benefits and a 401k with company match in contributions. Salary is dependent on level of education and experience. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement evaluation plans and methodologies to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of programs. * Design and administer surveys, questionnaires, interviews, and focus groups to collect data from program participants, stakeholders, and staff. * Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify program strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. * Develop and present reports summarizing evaluation findings to program staff, management, and stakeholders. * Provide recommendations for program improvement based on evaluation results. * Collaborate with program staff to develop and implement strategies to improve program outcomes. * Monitor and track program progress over time, making necessary adjustments to evaluation plans and methodologies as needed. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evaluation best practices and methods. Qualifications: Required * Bachelor's degree in a related field such as public policy, statistics, or social sciences; (Graduate degree preferred) * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience or education in evaluation methods, including survey design and data analysis * Ability to work collaboratively with program staff and stakeholders * Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Desirable, but not required * Proficiency in statistical software, such as SPSS or SAS * Familiarity with program management and implementation processes * Knowledge of evaluation best practices and standards
