Job Type Full-timeDescriptionSun-Maid Growers; Hiring Forklift drivers Shipping department.Kingsburg, CA ---Shipping PMDescriptionForklift Operator/ slipsheeter Sun-Maid Raisin Growers of California in Kingsburg is currently looking to hire experienced forklift drivers, for our Shipping Department. This is a full-time position. Must be flexible to work any shift. (AM, PM, GRAVEYARD). Available for Overtime & weekends. RequirementsMust have the Ability to work outdoors in all conditions.Must be able to drive the forklift in a safe and efficient manner.Sit-down electric/propaneSingles/doubles/slipsheet/dumpersWork safely in a fast-paced environment.Load and unload bins from trailers, move them to and from designated areas, machines and loading docks.Stage all bins with scale tag together.Stack bins four high and put in staging area.Properly check and maintain fluid levels of forklift. Move bins with the least amount of damage.Keep records as needed/ scanner experience a plus.Report any problems with lift truck to supervisor.Properly fill out Drivers Daily Forklift Checklist.Other duties as assigned.Applicants will undergo a practical test of their ability to operate a forklift.Union environment w/Union dues.Must have the ability to speak, read and write English.Must pass background check, drug screening and physical test.Must follow instructions of supervisor and crew leader.Must successfully complete training / certification and maintain certification.This job description is intended to provide you with a general description of the position.
