PLM's services include new trailer leasing, new trailer design and OEM ordering, short term leasing of existing trailers, flexible rental options, onsite maintenance, emergency breakdown service, GPS, and temperature management, and even lifecycle cost savings for its customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITESThis individual contributor will support and grow PLM Zero Emissions and Sustainability solutions for the refrigerated transportation and cold supply chain industry. Works on the Zero Emissions Team along with a Product Manager, Sales Leader, and operations team to expand product development.
This role will both lead and complete all work within the following key program areas:

  • Compliance: Responsible and management of the complete participation and compliance with any state or regional (ie: California) alternative energy and clean air programs, including ARBER, CORE, LCFS, Carl Moyer and other compliance and grant programs.
  • Represent PLM and PLM customer interests in programs, training, conferences, and events across California utilities as it pertains to clean energy.
  • Identify national grants, vouchers and additional financial support for PLM and PLM customers using alternative and clean-air products
  • Project Leader for cross-business facility and site solutions through alternative energy programs for the customer's fleet and property. Involvement from site review, design, cost management and project implementation lead.
  • Program liaison for alternative energy / clean fuel OEM and vendors. Due diligence of new products and NPI assessment using PLM processes and tools.
  • Product business management and control; integration into core business, leverage existing resources. Produce and manage executive reports and Product KPIs
  • Responsible for product growth and expansion; working as a critical part of the commercial team. Managing sales support and marketing efforts
  • Fleet management including customer fleet operations and fleet data management
  • Advanced Analysis: ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets. Strong Microsoft program skills required.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
      • Bachelor's degree
      • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Logistics and/or shipping in the Clean air arena a plus.
        WORKING CONDITIONSWorking conditions are normal for an office environment. Overnight travel to visit sales team, customers and business meetings required, and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
