Job Description:

Qualifications: --- As part of a marketing cross-functional team, lead and execute UX activities including audits, user research, research analysis, ideation, sketching, usability testing, and collaborative design thinking sessions within Marketing. --- Execute on all design stages, from sitemaps and wireframes, to high fidelity visual design. --- Develop detailed client personas, client journeys, information architecture, interactive prototypes, user research plans, and reports. --- Articulate design rationale in the context of business and user needs. --- Evaluate client research, analyze, and share insights around clients motivations, goals, and behaviors. --- Collaborate with our CX teams around client journeys and insights. --- Contribute towards the creation of design solutions that address client needs and strategic client objectives. --- Ensure to communicate design decisions through frameworks, wireframes, and prototypes. --- Validate concepts through usability testing and contribute to the design and execution of user testing scenarios 80% Measurement/Optimization. --- Stay informed on new technologies, trends, and developments within the design community and share those findings internally. --- Evaluate performance and insights to identify opportunities to improve client experience journeys. --- Collaborate w/ other performance marketing teams such as analytics and channel marketing to measure and optimize existing designs 15% Decisions Routinely makes recommendations that require approval to implement with the occasional decision without approval Recommendations Knowledge. --- Familiarity with Agile methodology & Proven track record of building data-driven impactful digital experiences. --- Mastery of at least two pillars of UX (research, information architecture, UI, or interaction design), and desire to master other disciplines within the field. --- Deep knowledge across the full range of UX activities and methodologies including user research, usability testing, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, and design systems. --- Proficient in some of the standard software tools (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision, Axure, Confluence, JIRA, etc). --- Experience with facilitating design thinking sessions Skills. --- Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong problem solving abilities. --- Ability to multi-task and flex to meet shifting deadlines. --- Strong verbal and written communications, combined with technical acumen. --- Demonstrated performance and data driven marketing approach. --- Comfort creating UX artifacts and deliverables for responsive web and mobile apps. --- Capable of clearly articulating UX design approach and rationale to teams and clients. --- Accepts direction with an open mind. --- Comfortable giving and receiving critique/feedback. --- Deeply curious and stays up-to-date on latest digital and design trends. --- Growth mindset, comfortable working in high-growth company. --- Ability to provide clear and effective feedback to other UX/UI designers Competencies. --- Advanced storyteller. --- Digital interaction designer. --- Excellent visual designer. --- Ability to manage a variety of initiatives/projects in a fast-paced environment. --- Ability to navigate effectively through ambiguity. --- Strategic thinker and creative problem solver always looking for most optimal solution. --- Good planner; capability to "look around the corner" to determine risks and mitigating strategies. --- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment. --- Results driven Required Education and Experience. --- 8 years of UX/UI design experience, ideally within marketing 5 years of UX/UI experience working on responsive web, mobile, or software projects. --- Experience with usability testing. --- A strong portfolio of digital design work. --- Strong experience in agile/scrum environments. --- Experience working on medium to large-sized projects and teams, preferably in an agency environment. --- Relevant experience working in digital, or specific UX-related training at workshops, boot camps, etc. also considered. --- Preferred Education and Experience --- Degree in interaction design or in a related field such as graphic design. --- Strong background in graphic design, motion graphics or other creative background. --- 3 years in B2B marketing / financial services Responsibilities --- Lead and execute UX/UI activities including audits, user research, research analysis, ideation, whiteboarding, usability testing, and collaborative design thinking sessions. --- Execute on all design stages, from sitemaps and wireframes, to high fidelity visual design. --- Develop detailed client personas, client user journeys, information architecture, interactive prototypes, user research plans, and reports. --- Validate concepts through usability testing and contribute to the design and execution of user testing scenarios. --- Contribute to the overall digital design system and documentation. --- Collaborate with developers to communicate designs and Lead design QA on new and live designs and experiences. --- Participate in Agile ways of working in a cross-functional pod focused on building digital marketing capabilities and marketing campaigns. --- Drive continual design innovation
