Job Title: Talent Acquisition Partner

6 Month Contract - Strong possibility to extend or convert to permanent

Job Location: 100% remote, but ideally on PST

Hours: PST business hours, M-F

Industry: Higher education

Size: Team is 7 - Associate Director, TA Director, 3 recruiters, 2 coordinators

Interview Process: TA Director, possibly Associate Director and/or VP of HR, some members of team - All Video/phone

Must Haves: Full cycle recruiting, experience with ATS (they use Jobvite)

Job Summary/Description:

Seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition professional that enjoys an ever-changing, entrepreneurial, and quickly growing environment, with great opportunity to step into an influential, exciting role responsible for full-cycle recruitment and driving recruiting success. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Talent Acquisition Partner will play a critical role in ensuring the attraction and employment of top talent with a primary focus on recruitment of academic (e.g. Faculty and academic support staff) and operational positions (e.g. Enrollment, Student Services, Finance, Marketing, etc.) while working in a fun yet fast-paced, metric-driven, team environment. What You'll Do:
Execute recruitment efforts
Partner with hiring managers and Human Resource Partners to outline the needs of the hiring manager and the requirements and expectations of the position.
Assist with the calculation of staffing metrics.
Source and recruit candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, while effectively targeting high-quality candidates for the position. Seek out and recommend creative new ways of sourcing talent.
Develop a pool of qualified candidates by posting open positions to appropriate Internet sources and job boards.
Attend career job fairs for meeting recruitment needs and enhancing University recognition.
Coordinate the interview process, including pre-screening of resumes, sending application packets, arranging interviews, and facilitating skills testing, as needed.
Perform reference and background checks for potential employees.
Follow up with selected candidates by sending offer letters and new hire packets.
Completes necessary new hire paperwork for personnel files.
Maintain ATS, databases and spreadsheets of recruitment activities.
Maintain relationships with temporary agencies to fill temporary employment needs.
Assist with the creation of job descriptions.
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the industry through attendance of educational seminars, networking, and industry events.
Assist with other functions as directed by the Director, Talent Acquisition.
Reasonable and consistent attendance to fulfill the requirements of the position.
Who You Are:
Knowledge of HR policies and practices.
Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding hiring practices.
Experience in virtual recruitment (social media, LinkedIn, resume sourcing).
Excellent Communicator - Your interpersonal skills are unmatched.
Problem Solver - If we got a problem, you'll solve it. You are the go to person in your office.
You can keep a secret - Experience maintaining confidentiality with issues of a sensitive nature.
Ability to effectively manage employee relations.
You are commended for your prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
You are a fantastic communicator able to connect with all levels of staff and outside vendors.
Tech Savvy - Proficient with Microsoft Word and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite.
You have a sense of humor. No joke--- well actually joke. You know what we mean---
What You Have:
Bachelor's degree with focus in Human Resources or a related field required.
At least (3) years of Human Resources recruitment experience.
Experience working with applicant tracking systems, we use Jobvite so experience there is a plus.
Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise.
