Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Responsibilities:

Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is adding additional positions to its existing staff of Medical ICU Registered Nurses. The Medical ICU is a 12 bed unit that works closely with UCSF.  The close afflation with UCSF provides a unique and comprehensive view of patient care in a healthy learning environment.  RN patient ratio is 1:2 but can be 1:1 based on patient acuity.

Community Regional Medical Center is seeking nurses like you to be part of our team. We are a fast paced unit with a lot of room for growth in specialized areas such as education, advanced practice, and leadership.

In this role you will work closely with the Medical team members including Attending Faculty members, fellows from our 16 fellowship programs, residents, and advance practice nurses. The population of Medical ICU patients range from acute exacerbation of chronic health problems (COPD, CHF, ESRD, etc.) mixed with acute illness (Pneumonia, DKA, Sepsis, ARDS, stroke, MI etc.).  Our Medical Team is highly trained and credentialed in a multitude of medical procedures.  Likewise, our nurses are highly competent and skilled to manage any medical patient.

Education is at the forefront of our practice therefore we encourage nursing credential and certification (i.e. ENLS, CCRN, CRRT, ECMO, WCC, Trauma Core etc. ).

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include; Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.  Current RN license for the state of California, BLS.  National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale Course must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job. 

Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire or transfer into job.
