The right candidate will be a team-player with strong communication skills and diligence in their work.Volt Workforce Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintaining the billing system
  • Generating invoices and account statements
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
  • Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Verifing validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
  • Resolving valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
  • Resolving invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures
  • Summarizing receivables by maintaining invoice accounts, coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing reports
  • Producing monthly financial and management reports
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis
  • Protect organizations value by keeping information confidentialESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
    • Associates degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
    • Bachelors degree preferred
    • 1-2 years experience in accounts receivable
    • Knowledge of financial software
    • An ability to prioritize and manage expectations
    • A keen eye for detail
    • An ability to work independently
