Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team, focused on providing top-tier rehabilitation services. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication, speech, and swallowing disorders. Utilize your specialized skills in helping patients recover and regain their communication abilities post-major health events, like strokes and physical injuries. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to patient recovery and independence. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes. Educate patients and family members about communication strategies and techniques. Regularly record and maintain accurate patient documentation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care. Participate in ongoing education to keep skills and knowledge current. Expertise in various speech and language disorders Strong analytical and diagnostic skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams Proficiency in using speech therapy tools and technology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
