Job Description Job Description We are seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in a level IV Emergency Department with a moderate volume of 1500 visits/months . The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and dedicated professional, committed to providing high-quality emergency care. This role involves working closely with our emergency team to deliver patient-focused services. RRH also owns Liberty Ambulance which has multiple EMS rigs and a helicopter in the area. Ridgecrest Regional Hospital (RRH) has earned recognition from the American Medical Association (AMA) as a Joy in Medicine™ recognized organization. Patient Care & Treatment Deliver outstanding and timely emergency medical care. Formulate and convey effective emergency care plans to patients and their families. Perform rapid medical evaluations and ensure maintenance of patient records. Ensure the provision of services aligns with established Emergency Department policies/procedures. Direct the administration of necessary tests by medical staff. Review and interpret test results. Reasonable patient load. Our Emergency Department handles approximately 1,500 visits per month. Ensure seamless transfer of L&D patients to a specialized facility to receive the appropriate care. Full time position, commitment to 10 shifts/month with availability during off-shifts. Must reside in Ridgecrest, relocation support with temporary housing available. Collaborative Teamwork Work alongside a team of ten emergency room doctors. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications Excellent Bedside Manners M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution. An active CA Medical License is required to start. Assistance is available for licensing. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
