Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing occupational therapy services within a school setting offers the opportunity to support students developmental and educational needs from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time contract position is based in Madera, CA, serving a K-12 caseload on-site Monday through Friday for 30 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students with diverse needs. Focus on fine motor skills development to enhance students participation in academic and daily activities. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards. Utilize expertise in both school-based and home health OT practices when applicable to support the students overall well-being. Desired Qualifications: Valid state license and certification as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) within educational or healthcare environments. Proficiency in fine motor skill development and therapeutic techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel. Ability to work independently in an on-site school setting. Location and Schedule: Position located in Madera, CA. Full-time contract role with 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
