Job Description Mineral King Radiological Medical Group Mineral King Radiological Medical Group is a private practice in Visalia that’s been around for over 50 years and has 10 partnered radiologists. Mineral King is associated with Kaweah Health Medical Center which is a 581-bed hospital with level III trauma designation. They staff the main hospital and their outpatient imaging center as well as their own outpatient imaging center. The group also owns their own outpatient interventional radiology center. Radiology Software: Synapse PACS EMR: Cerner and Fuji Dictation: PowerScribe RPAs on Staff: 3 PA’s and will add a fourth PA soon Reason for recruitment: There are a couple partners nearing retirement Position Details – General Diagnostic Radiologist We’re seeking a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team. This role offers a balanced schedule, a supportive team, and a stable work environment. Schedule & Work-Life Balance Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Predictable schedule allows your evenings to remain free Practice Environment Worksites: One hospital location and two imaging centers Volume: Manageable caseload (details available upon request) Call Commitment Weekday Call: Rare and typically covered remotely in the evenings Weekend Call: Occurs every 6–8 weeks Onsite coverage only until 2:00 PM Evening shifts covered remotely Team & Culture Team Size: 10 physician's total Includes 4 Interventional Radiology (IR) specialists 4 radiologists focused on mammography Openings: 2 immediate openings due to growth and planned retirements Work Culture: Collaborative group that values its radiologists Compensation Guaranteed Starting Base Salary: 550,000 a year, potential for additional earned compensation Sign-on Bonus: $100,000 Relocation: up to $15,000 Student Loan repayment: $100,000 Internal Moonlighting opportunities available Vacation: 8 weeks 1st year, 10 weeks 2nd year and 12 weeks 3rd year Partnership Track: 2 years Buy-in – Typically covered by first bonus – On average around $40,000 Total Earning Potential/Salary structure once partner: $750,000-$900,000 Benefits: Medical Insurance paid in full for radiologist & dependents Dental & Vision Insurance offered Paid Malpractice Insurance 401k Profit Sharing company contributes max allowed Paid Vacation – 8 weeks first two years and then 12 weeks a year starting year 3 Professional expenses $3,000 annual reimbursement Medical expense reimbursement $ 2500 for out-of-pocket medical expenses per year Opportunity to participate in deferred compensation plan through district hospital (put away 100k a year pre-taxed) Eligible for Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), in addition to loan repayment mentioned above LOCATION Mineral King Radiological Medical Group is located in the Central Valley, in the heart of California.
