Job Description:
Seeking a part-time or PRN Optometrist with flexible
availability for pay and schedule Responsibilities: Conduct
comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose
eye conditions. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other
vision aids as needed. Provide treatment for common eye problems,
such as dry eyes, allergies, and infections. Monitor and manage
chronic eye diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and
macular degeneration. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals, such as ophthalmologists and primary care
physicians, for co-management of patients. Educate patients on
proper eye care practices, including the importance of regular eye
exams and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records
and documentation of all diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions.
Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and
technologies through continuing education and professional
development.
