Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline:RN - Start Date:06/23/2025 - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, days - Employment Type:Travel Burn Unit RN – Cerner Required Experience: 1 year in a burn ICU (floating doesn’t count) Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS (ABLS preferred) EMR: Cerner Unit Details: 7 beds (adult peds), avg census: 4 ICU-level care, 1:2 ratio No nurse aides; burn tech assists with hydro/dressing (not every shift) Vents, tele (Phillips), must read own Hospitalist/intensivist consult; burn surgeons manage care Support: RT & Pharmacy 24/7 Orientation: 2 shifts burn, 1 PICU/ICU, 1 peds Floating: PICU, peds or adult ICU Shifts: 6a / 6p Schedule: EOW, 2 of 3 holidays, on-call possible if low census Scrubs: Navy blue Testing: Basic EKG; Critical care RNs will have STEMI & sedation modules Patients: Adult & pediatric burn (ICU to med-surg level) Apply Now About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
