Job Description Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Fresno, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Trinity Health is one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation, serving diverse communities that include more than 30 million people across 22 states. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Preferred Education: Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist. • Preferred Certification: CST. • A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST. • If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed, due to trained in the military – Five (5) years’ work experience is required. • Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility. • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, surgeons and other patient care personnel, often during emergency or stressful situations. • Analytical skills necessary in order to organize and prepare operating room according to best practice methods and procedures. • Ability to stand for prolonged periods (greater than eighty percent of work time) and to occasionally lift and position patients when preparing patients for operative procedures. • Manual dexterity necessary to grasp and hold firmly retractors and delicate surgical instruments. Mechanical aptitude to operate a large variety highly technical medical equipment. • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health."
