nurse RN Burn ICU for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield,
California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Burn ICU -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/23/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36
hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel
Burn Unit RN – Cerner Required/n/nExperience: 1 year in a burn ICU
(floating doesn’t count)/n/nCerts: BLS, ACLS, PALS (ABLS
preferred)/n/nEMR: Cerner/n/nUnit Details:/n/n7 beds (adult peds),
avg census: 4/n/nICU-level care, 1:2 ratio/n/nNo nurse aides; burn
tech assists with hydro/dressing (not every shift)/n/nVents, tele
(Phillips), must read own/n/nHospitalist/intensivist consult; burn
surgeons manage care/n/nSupport: RT & Pharmacy 24/7/n/nOrientation:
2 shifts burn, 1 PICU/ICU, 1 peds/n/nFloating: PICU, peds or adult
ICU/n/nShifts: 6a / 6p/n/nSchedule: EOW, 2 of 3 holidays, on-call
possible if low census/n/nScrubs: Navy blue/n/nTesting: Basic EKG;
Critical care RNs will have STEMI & sedation modules/n/nPatients:
Adult & pediatric burn (ICU to med-surg level)/n/nApply Now/n/n/n/n
