Position: -- Reporting to the Line Manager and/or other team managers as assigned by CEO -- One full-time remote mode regional role based in the US -- Suitable candidate will be engaged as an independent contractor Job Responsibilities: Report to the CEO: Brand Development -- Be the person-in-charge of a new biotech skincare ingredient brand, overseeing the whole brand creation process -- Undertake competitive research, market analysis and customer segmentation to inform brand strategy -- Work closely with the R&D team to convert USP into the brand---s mission, values, positioning and pricing model -- Work closely with the R&D team to prepare and compile all necessary technical documents required for marketing and sale of products under the brand -- Work with and guide agency in brand narrative creation and the production of all marketing materials necessary and appropriate for respective marketing channels, including but not limited to packaging, website, social media. -- Proactively initiate and manage programs, driving deadlines and marketing deliverables in all aspects of brand marketing, from concept and formulation to program kick-off, to final program and campaign delivery on time and within Company business objectives and budget -- Manage day-to-day communication/development, closely coordinate with and orchestrate all cross-functional teams, lead and track key milestones in cross-functional brand meetings, prepare action plans and cost feasibilities -- Prepare brand launch plan, including timeline, budget -- Prepare brand product mix, pricing, selling strategy, continuously work towards increasing profitability with close attention to cost and revenue strategy -- Stay abreast of global competitive activities and trends -- Prepare internal presentations including brand strategy and budget plan etc. Campaign Execution -- Hands-on-keyboard campaign management across digital channels (may include programmatic display, video, paid social media, podcasts, direct mail, streaming, OOH, etc.) -- Day-to-day ownership of media campaigns, collaborating closely with other team members or agencies buying media -- Develop a thorough understanding of the customer journey and the role that each media touchpoint plays in cross-channel acquisition -- Optimize media to KPIs and manage media budget effectively -- Manage key acquisition events/activities in the marketing calendar in partnership with cross-functional team -- Manage search campaigns, including campaign setup, optimization, and reporting -- Monitor campaign performance; make near real-time adjustments based on desired outcomes Business Development -- Identify and research potential clients, develop and maintain client relationships -- Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives -- Develop mutually beneficial proposals and negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders -- Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed -- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data Qualifications & Experiences: -- Bachelor---s degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related fields with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in skincare or ingredient industry highly advantageous -- Passionate about skincare, sustainability and technology -- Prior experiences in brand development or management highly desirable -- Prior work experiences in MNC is a bonus -- Experience in working independently as a contractor -- Experience in working with an international team -- Excellent computer skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) -- Good graphics & photo and video editing skills advantageous -- Native English speaker with excellent command of written and spoken English -- Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Manager Traits: -- High level of integrity, respectfulness, loyalty, and professionalism -- Great aesthetic sense, keen eyes for details -- Creative and strategic thinker, great with words and images as well as numbers and people -- Sustainability mission-driven and aligned -- Great team player -- Exceptional people skills including demonstrated ability to communicate with internal staff and business partners -- Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment with incomplete data, fast pace, and a steep learning curve -- Highly organized, shown to meet tight deadlines along with consistently excellent accuracy and attention to detail -- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively -- Pragmatic, can-do spirit, able to go outside of comfort zone -- Open to and can learn from feedback through developing steps for improvement -- Self-motivated, inquisitive, durable, entrepreneurial in spirit -- Able to work independently and take full ownership of tasks and milestones, focusing on delivering timely results -- Embracing cultural diversity in a working environment Salary & Benefits: --- 5-day week --- Competitive compensation commensurate with qualifications and experiences --- Performance-based discretionary bonus All applications received will be used exclusively for employment purposes only.
