There are three convenient locations; Quail Park on Cypress, Quail Park at Shannon Ranch and Quail Park Memory Care Residences. Join our team today!Human Resources Director Job Description The HR Director is the CA subject matter expert that acts as a strategic business partner to all CA business. They drive each area of the HR and Payroll function while maximizing team member productivity through the optimization of talent. They provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR and Payroll functions by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits, payroll, legal/risk management, and employee relations. This role is directly responsible for leading other HR/Payroll team members.Human Resources Director Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Two-year degree in Business, HR or Accounting required, Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience required in Human Resource Management. Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefit administration and payroll Previous supervisory experience required. Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations preferred. Intermediate computer skill proficiency including Word, Excel, accounting and HRIS software. Must be able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, other team members and vendors. Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills. Able to maintain high level of confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal, coaching and conflict resolution skills. Ability to convey difficult and challenging information to all levels of organization. Articulate communicator and ability to interpret and explain statistical data to wide range of audiences. Solid commitment to customer or employee service Must have a strong commitment to customer service and desire to exceed customer expectations. Subject matter expert in company policies, programs and operational HR and Payroll processes Acts as a single point of contact for the team members and managers of the CA Region Proactively supports the delivery of all HR Processes. Actively identifies gaps, process, suggest optional solutions and implement changes. Acts as the performance improvement driver and generates positive changes in the people management initiatives. Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives of the community as well as companywide objectives.Human Resources Director CA Region 2021-03 Function as a strategic business advisor to the CA Region management team Continually assesses the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets. Manage budget and another HR department metrics. Continual process improvement of programs, policies, practices, and processesRecruiting Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals. Develop recruiting and staffing strategies in effort to attract and place the right talent. Lead talent planning and development efforts resulting in retention and promotion of high performing teams. Ensures effective recruiting and hiring for CA Region including coaching, training, and providing tools to managers, coordinating process, proactive communication with possible future team members, timely follow-up with all candidates throughout process, etc.Training and development Owns all new hire and ongoing training for CA Region to ensure regulatory compliance and skill development at all stages of employment. Records and monitors all community level training for effectiveness. Assist in providing managers with necessary tools and material to provide quality training.Performance Management Manage, guide, and influence all aspects of performance management and development. Trains all managers on company performance management process and tools. Ensures staff are reviewed timely and consistently. Reviews all written documentation given to team related to discipline. Ensures timely follow-up on success plans and discipline, escalates to home office per policy.Human Resources Director Payroll Benefits management Owns payroll and benefit process for the CA Region community level. Participates in the design, implementation, and management of compensation initiatives. Establishes and communicates the company wage and salary structure and compensation policies, including selection of team member benefits, and performs regular reviews against market. Ensures timely and accurate payroll. Participates in competitive wage and benefit surveys locally. Presents benefits orientation to all new team members and is primary point of contact for outside vendors regarding all benefits. Human Resources Director Workers Compensation Responsible to manage workers compensation process to include managing process for team members, reviewing and processing claims, recommending loss control strategies, ensuring program conformance to applicable laws, regulations, and company standards, preparing required reports, and monitoring and evaluating all related activities.Compliance Ensures local, state, and federal compliance at community for all team member related activities including (but not limited to) new hire and ongoing paperwork needs, payroll and benefit related compliance and safety etc. Protects interest of team members and company. Helps maintain minimal company exposure to lawsuits. Human Resources Director Team Member Relations Is the primary team member relations contact for all CA Region team members? Drives recognition program and ensures morale building plan. Facilitates all staff meetings and other meetings as assigned.Human Resources Director CA Region 2021-03 Assists with team member communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, suggestion programs, team member satisfaction surveys, newsletters, team member focus groups, and one-on-one meetings. Conducts exit interview process and articulates findings and related suggestions to company. Recommends team member relations practices to establish a positive employer-team member relationship and promote a high level of team member morale and motivation. Participates in executive, management, and company staff meetings to train and inform supervisors and staff on new laws, procedures, and policies. Conducts internal investigations when team member complaints or concerns are brought forth. Drives recognition programs and ensures morale building amongst all team members from all departments.HRIS Maintains HR technology, ensures accuracy of data at all times, prepares, and analyzes reports to management, and ensures communitys full utilization of software.Other Attends all required team member meetings and in-service training sessions. Upholds Residents Rights as defined by state regulations and by Living Care Lifestyles policy, at all times. Supports and upholds all other Living Care Lifestyles policies, and the service philosophy. Rubbermaid carts are used to move larger and heavier items/boxes throughout the facility as needed for holiday decorations and supplies.Human Resources Director CA Region 2021-03Push/Pull: OCCASIONALLY with less than 5 pounds of force for normal daily operations of opening/closing drawers and doors. Florescent and natural lighting are utilized.
