Account Manager

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our product. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Serve as a lead point of contact for assigned customers regarding account management matters.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Negotiate agreements for new sales to maximize profits for business units.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products according to customers needs and objectives.
Clearly communicate the progress of new project initiatives to internal and external stake holders.
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results, annual sales forecasts).
Prepare reports on account status.
Collaborate with Project Manager and operations resources to execute projects successfully.
Handle client requests and resolve quickly
Interfaces with internal resources and third parties including representatives from: manufacturing, engineering, clients, vendors, etc.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Follow each project through to completion

Requirements:
Good understanding of retail fixtures, and retail fixture deployment, especially big-box retail and club stores
Must have knowledge/experience within the retail industry
Proven working experience as an account manager, project manager or sales representative; preferable in the product development or Retail.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Willingness and ability to travel

Nice to have:
5 + years of experience working with global brands
leadership experience
Experience with shopper marketing
