Description Maintenance Mechanic$1000 Sign-On BonusYour JobGuardian Glass is looking for motivated Maintenance Mechanic with a passion for safety to join our team in Kingsburg, CA! Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for performing highly diversified maintenance to production machines and plant facility's equipment, on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic for both troubleshooting and repairs in support of efficiency and allowing our facility to create quality glass that meets our customers' needs.Our Team At Guardian Glass, a Guardian Industries company, we make high-performance, energy efficient glass for homes and buildings. Maintenance Mechanics must be willing to work a rotational shift schedule (up to 12 hours), holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.Starting wages are $23 - $30 per hour depending on level of experience.Employees are eligible for a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 30 days of employment.What You Will DoPerform highly diversified maintenance to production machines and plant facility's equipment, on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic for both troubleshooting and repairsPerform basic fabrication duties and responsibilities (welding, cutting, forming,)Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust with limited operational experiencePerform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilitiesUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipmentTroubleshoot and diagnose problems in PLC controllers and process automation systemsComply with all safety & environmental regulations and maintain clean and orderly workAble to read and interpret a wide range of electrical schematics and mechanical system drawingsPerform tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, cold, humid, dusty, and high-volume environmentMaintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipmentWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial electrical skillsMeet the physical and safety requirements of the jobWhat Will Put You AheadMinimum of 3 years of industrial manufacturing experienceExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and industrial electrical skillsPLC, troubleshooting, and fabrication experienceFor this role, we anticipate paying $23 hourly.
