Adecco, in partnership with a leading manufacturer of specialty, high performance laminate and prepreg materials is seeking a Technical Sales and Service Engineer. This is a remote position and prefer to have candidates in the West Coast.The Technical Sales and Service Engineer is responsible for selling high performance laminate and prepreg materials into printed circuit fabricators and provide technical support to customers. Conduct product evaluations at customers facility and troubleshoot processing problems. Promote the use of company's Materials in circuit designs for various applications. Develop concepts for new materials and give input into the Product Development group.Job Responsibilities:* Visit customers in person and virtually, presenting Arlon products in presentation formats to highlight the technical and commercial aspects of Arlon's specialty materials.* Provide technical support and help customers to determine the proper materials and processing parameters for their specific circuit design.* Establish yourself as a primary material sales and technical interface for EMD with circuit fabrication customers and within the industry.* Maintain current information on competitors' products and marketing activities providing input and feedback to marketing as such information is available.* Support fabricator engineers with product processing techniques, testing parameters, technical literature, and various material options to solve problems in manufacturing and design.* Support sales/marketing with product and process literature, including newsletters and technical bulletins as appropriate.* Conduct industry and account seminars independently or with the sales organization.* Coordinate with the product development team to test materials and conduct field trials for new product introductions.* Attend and participate in industry sponsored technical meetings and trade shows, such as IPC functions.* Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and situations.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor's degree (B. S.) preferred in Physical Sciences, Engineering or equivalent from four-year college or university* 5 years or more related experience in laminating and PWB processing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Experience servicing the aerospace and military end markets.If you meet the above qualifications and would like to apply for this position, please click APPLY and upload your most current resume.
