Job Description Job Description Now Hiring: Payroll Specialist Fresno, CA (In-Office Position) Full-Time | Large Central Valley Employer A well-established and growing Central Valley employer is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team in Fresno. This is a key role responsible for preparing, processing, and auditing payroll across multiple locations while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Position Overview: The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of semi-monthly payroll for all employees. This role partners closely with HR, Accounting, and department managers to ensure compliance, resolve payroll-related issues, and provide excellent internal customer service. Qualifications: * 2–3 years of payroll processing experience (multi-location experience preferred) * Strong knowledge of California payroll laws and regulatory requirements * Experience with payroll systems (Paylocity or similar platforms preferred) * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) For more information please contact Ann Conter, Sr. Branch Manager with AppleOne | Fresno.
