• The role has 5 direct reportsJob DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Controller to join our manufacturing industry team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial statement preparation, process improvement, balance sheet, general ledger, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, and establishing and maintaining internal controls.Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
  • Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Manage and lead a team of accounting professionalsQualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • CPA or CMA certification preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage and lead a team of accounting professionals
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
    • Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards and regulations.
