Job Description:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the
administration of HR policies and procedures, as well as assisting
the Director of Human Resources in the development of programs
which address the organizational development/effectiveness of the
company, as well other human resources initiatives which enhance
the organizational capability of the company and its employees.
Responsibilities
? Coaches managers and supervisors on the handling of all employee
relations issues.
? Acts as a trusted advisor/business partner to management on all
HR related business issues.
? Recommends organizational development programs and initiatives
that complement the strategic business objectives.
? Assist in the design of training programs that build the
leadership and management skills of employees
? May train employees on various business related topics
? Ensures employment laws are complied with and makes improvements
where necessary.
? Works with HR Director, management, and temporary staffing
agency/recruiters with the recruitment of new employees for both
full time and temporary positions.
? Provides feedback to the HR Director on all human resources
issues.
? Creates and maintains job descriptions for all locations.
? Maintains confidential records for all employees.
? Oversees payroll functions
? Assists with the administration of employee benefits ?recommend
plan design changes, if necessary.
? Works with Safety Coordinator to ensure a team approach to
employee safety throughout all local facilities
? Assists HR Director with ongoing projects as assigned.
Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree and at least 5 years of experience in a Human
Resources capacity from a generalist perspective, coupled with a
minimum of three years HR management experience
? Strong knowledge about how a corporate culture is a strategic
differentiator
? Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
? Leads by example and lives the Core Values and Accountability
culture
? Will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, pay
close attention to detail and maintain a high level of
professionalism and energy.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills.
? Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations through the
United States
? Previous experience in working in a Manufacturing environment
? Fluency in writing and speaking in the Spanish language is a
must.
? PHR or SPHR a plus
